Hi, my name is Jasmine! I am a meek and mild 5 year old that is also front declawed. I originally came into the shelter as a stray. I was adopted twice and brought back because I have a tendency to mark around the house. The people here do not want to give up on me. I'm shy but sweet. I love to play and be pet, but not really carried around. I will sit on your lap from time to time, but it has to be my idea. In my new home, it would be best for me to be the only pet. A limited area in which to roam may also help me to stop marking. Anti anxiety medication or a calming aid in the form of a treat may also help me. If you choose to take a chance and I hope someone does, the shelter does have a return policy where I can come back here if it doesn't work out. You never know which home will make me settle down and be a good kitty, so give me a chance and apply today! My adoption fee is $0.00 as I am part of the Shelters Free Pet Promotion! Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All cats and kittens have been vaccinated for Distemper, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will also be vaccinated for Rabies, blood tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated for Feline Leukemia and spayed/neutered. If a kitten is too young, the adoptive person is responsible for the cost of spaying/neutering by the date designated in our adoption contract. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society.
